A new chapter is cooking.

Our Story

Rooted in flavor. Renowned for customer service. Ready for what’s next.

More than an order of wings.

Original Wingopolis began serving customers in March 2018. From the beginning, the experience was about more than what came out of the kitchen. It was about flavorful food, a genuine welcome and treating people with care.

For seven years, Wingopolis brought together food, service and community. Customers came for the wings. The way they were treated became just as much a part of the story.

The flavor started with family.

What started in Grandma’s kitchen in the 1970s became a lifelong love affair for our founder: chicken wings.

He learned to cook wings from his grandmother and to make barbecue and tacos from his father. Both helped shape his love of cooking. But the wings? Those were definitely Grandma’s.

Those family lessons became part of the foundation of Wingopolis: take care with what you prepare, take pride in your work and make people feel welcome.

Grandma’s Original Buffalo carries that connection forward. Alongside Lemony Lemon Pepper, Garlicky Garlic Pepper and Grandma’s Original Ranch, it is part of the flavor identity we are bringing into our next chapter.

The service mattered, too.

We are proud that Wingopolis was remembered for its customer service as well as its food. A warm greeting, attention to an order and appreciation for the person placing it were part of the experience.

That is the standard we intend to carry forward. Whether someone is discovering Wingopolis for the first time or returning for a familiar favorite, we want them to feel that their business matters.

Tasty. Tangy. Terrific. Food worth remembering, served with genuine care.

From our neighborhood to the world.

To everyone who ordered, recommended us, brought a friend or made Wingopolis part of their day or vacation experience: thank you.

You came from across the United States, including Chicago, New York, Florida, North Carolina, the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia region, California’s Bay Area, Las Vegas and beyond.

You also visited from Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, China, Mexico, Japan, India and countries across Africa. And, of course, South Korea, whose visitors helped put Wingopolis on the international map as a place to visit.

Whether you came from around the corner or across the world, you are part of this story.

The next chapter.

Our original operation closed in April 2025. That chapter ended, but the recipes, the lessons and our appreciation for the customers who supported us remain.

Today, Original Wingopolis is preparing for a return with a more deliberate approach to locations and operations. Our focus is on preserving the food and service that made the brand meaningful to its customers.

We will share confirmed reopening news as plans develop. The next chapter begins with the same love of wings that started in Grandma’s kitchen.

The flavor you remember.

A new Wingopolis chapter is on the way.
